"Can you assist with the design engineering and prepare for production a housing for a tree scanning technology?"

Maxime Szyf, Founder & Designer - MAXIMALdesign

Plastic housing product engineering

This project is a collaborative effort between Timbtrack, MAXIMALdesign, and our team at Fosfor. The objective was to transform the labor-intensive process of tree assessment in forests by integrating innovative scanning technology into a portable, weather-resistant housing.

— Objectives

ROBUST HOUSING SOLUTION

Our goal was to assist with the design engineering of a robust housing solution for the cutting-edge tree scanning technology developed by Timbtrack. By doing so, they aimed to streamline tree assessment in forests, enabling remote scanning and data collection to determine tree readiness for harvesting while ensuring ease of use and durability.

— Some key features

WEATHER RESISTANT TECH INTEGRATION

Fosfor collaborated with MAXIMALdesign to refine the design engineering, ensuring it could be intelligently materialized and manufactured with efficiency and practicality in mind.

MERGING STYLING & TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY

Styling, ergonomics and UI design were provided by MAXIMALdesign. Thanks to effective collaboration, the design concept was successfully translated into a technically feasible production plan by Fosfor.

The tree scanner represents a significant advancement in tree management technology, offering forest managers a more efficient and accurate method for assessing tree health and readiness for harvesting. With its seamless integration of scanning technology, it is set to revolutionize tree management practices in forests.
